Oakstead pony stud is a small private stud, breeding SP/SHP/Welsh B and RH. We are Based in Preston Lancashire.

We have been showing ponies for over 20yrs as a hobby going through show ponies (Risinghoe Secret Garden, Small Land Orsino, and the show hack Rusty Baby) When Rusty became lame we decided to put her in foal, she bred us the large riding horse Oakstead Rustique by Westhill Integrity, she then had 2 more foals for us Oakstead Annabel and Gabrielle, along with the HOYS hacks Warrenhill and True Illusion while out on loan. We then had a beautiful mare Guelder Rose of Rendene on loan, with whom we had great success and bred one foal Oakstead Just Perfect, we also had her first daughter Marshbrook Military Rose who we bred from, We then acquired a Welsh Section A mare Cammac Gypsy Rose who we put to a Section B, producing Oakstead Ophelia, we are now breeding form Ophelia and are expecting a foal from Gabrielle in April 2007. We also own the most fantastic Dartmoor Rushfield Havana (now 20yrs) who can turn her hoof to anything and is very much loved and with us for the rest of her life.
